BREED NOTES FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA
Hope everyone is well after the cold snap and all the dogs are now on top form ready for the new show season.
We start the year with Manchester with an entry of 19 Hounds for our Judge Mrs G. J. Lilley.
Best Puppy and Reserve Best Bitch was Anharbn Pretty In Pink. Best Dog went to Anharbn White Tiger WW10. The Best Bitch and Best IR was the litter sister A. White Wedding.
Diane Clark had a second in Post graduate with Eindackel Elurin whilst Jackie and Greg's Eccellento Amberrea took third. Anharbn White Rose For Mwenga took first in limit for the Agnew, Cullen partnership.
It was lovely to see Jackie and Greg's new Finish import, Kimblewick Sicilian Moon Over Nakarat and I am sure he is going to do his new owners proud.
All the Cirnechi seemed to enjoy their first major show of the year and let's hope to see more coming out to show at the season progresses.
It was unfortunate that Susan and Lee Cronshaw were unable to make the show due to Lee having a minor operation. Best wishes to Lee.
It was also the venue of the club's first committee meeting of 2011 of which details will follow.
Anharbn Pink Floyd has been out and about with his owner Pam Crudgington and handled by Mrs Brooker to win Best Import Reg at three shows, Hull, East Anglian Hound and Kensington. Many congratulations to Pam and Barbara.
The Dog World Top Dog Competition for 2010 is held jointly by Hadranensis Remo and Anharbn White Wedding.
DW Top Brood Bitch 2010 is Multi Champion Giltedged Yana Anharbn.
Our Dogs awarded Top Puppy to Anharbn Pretty In Pink and Top Breeder for the third year running to Anharbn Kennel, Mrs J Morris.
Yvonne Bowker contacted me regarding benching rugs of which she makes to order. They come exactly the size of the bench with a carry bag. You can also have a digitized picture if required. Yvonne also makes many other items including embroidered cushions etc. Telephone 01638 507748 or pagan@chomananga.freeserve.co.uk to contact her for more details.
Anyone wishing to bring their Cirneco to Discover Dogs at Crufts should contact Diane Clarke or david@cirnecodelletnaclub.co.uk.
